Our community has many needs, but it also has many strengths. In an effort to leverage that strength, Green Starkville partners with a variety of people and organizations who are working towards a similar mission. Programs and services to support community health are best when they are collaborative, strategic and sustainable.

Because of the size and nature of many of our community projects, Green Starkville does not have the resources to do it alone. Success can only result from collaborations that bring together the reserves of many organizations. Green Starkville will seek to find partners that are mission-driven, devoted to excellence, and capable of creating dynamic solutions to issues facing our community.

A community program or service is strategic when it utilizes the talents and skills of its people to meet the needs of those it serves.

A program or service is sustainable when it is supported by a variety of sources including reimbursements, grants, donations, and contributions from other organizations. It is important to have a variety of resources available to provide excellent service to our community.
